I own both and agree they are very different. Versace PH smells like the opening of Allure Homme Sport but stays more citrus based. Versace MEF smells like a more masculine D&G Light Blue for women (which is arguably a unisex fragrance) with a woodier base. Both are great for warmer weather and both are worth owning in my opinion.

Fragrances that I would much rather wear for the high heat of summer are Terre D'Hermes Eau Tres Fraiche, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDT, and Guerlain .
