I own 16 watches -2 Rolex, Panerai, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, 2 Audemars Piguet, Patek philippe, IWC, Breitling, Tag Heuer, etc.- and I've experienced only 3 issues, all of them related to a Royal Oak 15300ST assembled with the well-known cal 3120. This beautiful and precise calibre, is fully decorated with Côtes de Genève on all bridges and comes with a stunning bi-directional 22k gold rotor. The rotor features the coats of arms for the Audemars and Piguet families, all done with immaculate attention to detail. Place the stem in the winding position (I've always done it this way without a problem, lots of threads online about this topic). Unscrew the setting lever screw, remove the stem and then tighten the screw again. Once the stem has been removed you can push the movement through the front of the case. Notice the tape at 2 and 8!
