I recently read that there is a version of the 372 that was released about last .It is my first plexiglass crystal watch. I had read about how soft it is and prone to hairline scratches. These facts are true. I have never smacked my 372's crystal off of anything (despite its massive size) and it still shows the infamous hairlines. I recently read that there is a version of the 372 that was released about last August with a sapphire crystal but then read that the Panerai catalog still says plexiglass.
