Incredible and rare early 1960s Audemars Piguet “Cioccolatone” retailed and co-signed by Gubelin. Very nice shape with cool textured dial. Dimensions: 30x34 The mix of classic, sporty, and expressive that's perfectly embodied in the Royal Oak dates as far back as the 1920s and '30s. Vivas pointed to no-lug chronographs from this era as early examples of the design approach that would lead to the Royal Oak some 50 years later.
