Because of Hublot’s mainstream presence and perception, the good is unfairly packaged up with all of the “bad” as some people term it.
In my opinion, most of their watches are too big and bulky and/or a novelty watch. The exception is the Classic Fusion, but that's also kinda too big or too small and the fit is generally not great on a smaller wrist. I used to be one of those people who thought of Hublot watches as watches for people who just wanted to flash. I would always say I hate the look of them, and they're just oversized, overprices garbage. Hublot has been passed over when it should be considered much higher on the pantheon of luxury steel (or titanium) sports watches. Biver didn't take over the brand because he thought it was a dud. He saw potential – and it popped under his leadership.
