I brushed the PCL’s on my GMT and for daily beater use I much prefer the look and I find I’m not molly coddling it because I can re-brush if it it does pick up scratches & scuffs. I thought about searching out a Sub Glidelock but I prefer the smaller clasp of the GMT bracelet and the way it sits on my wrist. The only thing I'm not totally in love with are the PCL's, and I know that people sometimes have them brushed to match the rest of the bracelet. I think more likely than not I will go this route. Is this frowned upon?I think the pcl is great for an only watch as it makes it a little dressier (e.g., GMT2). Brushed is nice for an every day if you have more than one watch.

I have been tinkering with the bracelets and spring bars of the Hulk, Batman and BLRO. By using an appropriate springbar, all 3 bracelets are interchangeable with all three watches, yielding 9 possible combinations. I am attaching a guide for all combinations which you may find useful: DIY brushed polished center links (PCL), GMT 116710LN. I assume when I have it serviced again it will come back polished. I used the Bergeon Fine polishing block just after a factory service in 2016 and like it this way. I want to complete the Land, Air and Sea collection, so I’m about to go grey and get a Daytona. However, I just noticed that the current Daytona seemingly has polished center links.
